North Pacific (a desert island disc) is a subtropical mutation of chanson anglaise, filtered through a diagonal prism to create a fractured, playful pop.
With his trusty shipmates Yannick Dupont (Moog, percussion) and Quentin Manfroy (bass, bass flute), and guest string quartet In Praise of Folly we share mr Diagonal's maritime adventures: his squalls and sunny spells, his shipwrecks, the highs and lows of desert island life, his attempts at maritime carpentry, his manioc intoxications.

Mr Diagonal poursuit sa mutation britannique de la chanson française, filtré à travers un prisme oblique pour créer une pop fracturée et ludique. Entre fable universelle et quête initiatique, Mr Diagonal évoque ses périples, ses tentatives de construction navale, mais aussi ses intoxications au manioc. Peut-être le premier disque d'île déserte belgo-écossais, North Pacific est un tropicalia tempéré, la bande sonore d'un été en technicolor, une musique des iles belges pour divaguer.
