Upsy Hill joue un rock alternatif mêlant l’énergie et la fougue du grunge et parfois du punk avec les mélodies entraînantes du pop rock. Avec comme influence des groupes comme les Foo Fighters, Nirvana mais aussi Oasis ainsi que Kasabian.
Chaque membre a ses propres styles de prédilection ce qui donne au groupe un éclectisme certain. Stan, le batteur, a une préférence pour les rythmes électroniques avec leurs cotés carrés précis. Chris s’allie à la rythmique de Stan pour donner une cohésion basse/ batterie bien calée. Ben est plus dans la recherche de mélodies et d’harmonies pour
donner ce côté brutal ou envolé aux morceaux. Loick, quant à lui, trouve sa place dans le soutien et dans la grosseur du son d’Upsy Hill avec une guitare qui donne de la présence et sans qui le son du groupe ne serait pas homogène.

Upsy Hill plays an alternative rock combining the energy and raw power of grunge and punk with the catchy melodies of pop rock.
With influences like Nirvana, Foo Fighters but also Oasis and Kasabian, to say the least, each band member brings his own game to the table. Stanley, the drummer, likes the square and precise side of electronic beats. Chris mix up with Stan's rhythm to give a tight cohesion between the bass ans the drums.
The melody and harmony side is taken by Ben who gives the rough or floating feeling to the songs. The last member, Loick, adds back up and fatness to the sound with a rich guitar sound without which the sound of the band would not be what it is.

Mama Killa is a Belgian rock band with very obvious influences which are not One direction or Nickelback

Long-time acquaintances from the Belgian stoner-rock scene, the four members of mama killa decided to unite their forces as they were watching a Melvins gig in Brussels. 6 months later, they hope you will enjoy these little first home productions presaging future "real" studio material.
