Pollyanna is a band based in Paris, France, singing in English. Folky and rocky, lining up a full string quartet, its krafty sound makes it reminiscent of Laura Veirs, The Decemberists, PJ Harvey, Grandaddy, Oasis, Neil Young etc., with a hint of Celtic folk. It was once coined as a "Neko Case with a European flair" by an American magazine. Not bad, uh? Pollyanna’s music is both rooted in traditionnal musics and indie rock: they love wood and electricicity.
